When I think of making memories or celebrating during a crisis here are a few tips that I use:

Barktoberfest Pet and Music Festival to Benefit Wayside Waifs Pet Shelter Local businesses donate portions of their sales, at the Free Admission Festival Calling all animal, music and beer lovers in the Kansas City Area! The 3rd Annual Bentley's Pet Stuff's Barktoberfest, is Saturday October 7th, with FREE admission. This super fun event will be held at Shawnee Mission Park's Theatre in the park. This family and dog friendly event is Kansas City's only pet and music festival.
